National Rifle Association of India adopts constitutional reforms to meet NSGA 2025
The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) approved major constitutional amendments at a special general body meeting in Bhubaneswar on July 18, aligning its administration with the National Sports Governance Act (NSGA) 2025. The changes bring NRAI’s governance structure in line with the new legal framework, incorporate early national sports federations, and introduce stricter code of conduct, player‑welfare committees and formal dispute‑resolution mechanisms.
President Kalikesh Narayan Singh Dev and General Secretary Pawan Kumar Singh said the reforms aim to create a more transparent, accountable and player‑focused system, strengthening India’s shooting sport administration ahead of upcoming international competitions.
