National Route 3 closure between Caleta Olivia and Comodoro Rivadavia

Vialidad Nacional has implemented a total closure of the main roadway on National Route 3 between Caleta Olivia and Comodoro Rivadavia. The interruption is located between kilometers 1872 and 1877 in the La Lobería sector.

The closure, which began on Saturday, September 26, is necessary to perform urgent repairs on a culvert that suffered erosion. While the main lane is closed, a detour has been established and signaled by Vialidad Nacional to allow continued transit. Travelers are advised to exercise extreme caution, reduce speed, and follow all instructions from personnel on-site. This route is a critical corridor for those traveling to and from Tierra del Fuego by land.
