National Route 5 bypass budget shows staggered investment

Details from the 2027 Budget project reveal that the announced 74,997.44 million pesos for the urban bypass of National Route 5 in Mercedes will be distributed over several years rather than being allocated in a single period.

According to the investment schedule, only 3.34% of the total amount, approximately 2,503.47 million pesos, is planned for the 2027 fiscal year. The largest identified portion is scheduled for 2028, amounting to 18,574.20 million pesos (24.77%), followed by 10,410.48 million pesos (13.88%) in 2029.

Significantly, 58.01% of the total budget, equivalent to 43,509.29 million pesos, does not have a specific annual allocation assigned within the current detailed timeline.
