National Safety Council Safety Congress & Expo held in Indianapolis

The 2026 National Safety Council (NSC) Safety Congress & Expo is currently taking place in Indianapolis, featuring industry innovations and recognition for safety training excellence.

Streamlight is showcasing its latest product lineup at the event, including the Trident and Septor headlamps. These IPX7-rated waterproof headlamps are designed for industrial and outdoor use, featuring a 90-degree tilting head. Additionally, the company is presenting the Portable Scene Light III (PSL III), a modular, high-output lighting system capable of delivering up to 10,000 lumens for emergency and military applications.

During the NSC Training Impact Awards, the council honored several trainers for their contributions to road, workplace, and community safety. Alphonso Grennell of Grennell’s Driver Safety Training and Services in Jamaica received the James A. Solomon Defensive Driving Courses Instructor of the Year Award. Other honorees were recognized in categories such as First Aid, CPR, AED training, workplace training, and child passenger safety.
