National Stock Exchange named Sectoral Champion under PM Internship Scheme

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has been named a Sectoral Champion for Banking & Financial Services under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS). The recognition was presented by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, at the Recognition of Partner Company Awards.

Under the PMIS initiative, the NSE has provided internship opportunities to more than 500 students, offering them practical experience and exposure to financial markets. The scheme, managed by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, provides 12-month internships to youth aged 21-24 within top 500 companies to help build professional skills.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman recently interacted with PMIS beneficiaries, who reported that the program helped them gain practical skills and secure full-time employment with various leading brands.
