National Stop Data Center Network established in Milan

The “Rete nazionale dei Comitati Stop Data Center” (National Network of Stop Data Center Committees) was officially established in Milan on September 26. The initiative aims to unite regional groups opposing the expansion of data centers to protect local territories from environmental impacts.

The founding phase involved over 40 committees that signed a formal act of creation. The launch event drew hundreds of in-person attendees and thousands of viewers via social media, featuring technical, scientific, and legal experts discussing the future of regional territories.
