National Taipei University donates elderly education resources to Yunlin

The Center for Aging and Community Studies at National Taipei University has donated 1,000 copies of ‘Xue Lao Zhi’ to the Yunlin County Government to promote elderly education within local communities.

As Yunlin faces a super-aged society, the county plans to distribute the publication through its 24 senior academies and 222 community care centers. The magazine, published quarterly, focuses on topics such as healthy aging, long-term care, retirement living, and social participation.

Yunlin County Deputy Magistrate Hsieh Shu-ya stated that the initiative aligns with the county’s ‘Love the Elderly’ policy framework, which integrates health, care, and social engagement. The goal is to transition elderly services from basic care to fostering lifelong learning and autonomy.
