National Theatre Bitola performs Coriolanus in Albania

The National Theatre Bitola presented a modern adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Coriolanus” at the “Magical Nights in Butrint” festival in Saranda, Albania. Directed by John Bondel, the production received standing ovations from the festival audience.

The play explores themes of power, political responsibility, and the relationship between the individual and society. This performance follows the production’s previous appearances at the 66th Ohrid Summer Festival in North Macedonia and the Shakespeare Fringe Festival in Verona, Italy.
