National Theatre Bitola to perform ‘Coriolanus’ in Poland

The National Theatre Bitola will perform William Shakespeare’s ‘Coriolanus’ at the 10th anniversary of the ‘Direction East’ international theatre festival in Bialystok, Poland, on October 16.

Directed and adapted by John Blondel, this modern production explores themes of power, political responsibility, and the relationship between the individual and society. This performance follows previous international appearances in Verona, Italy, and Saranda, Albania.

The production features a cast including Vasco Mavrovski, Petar Gorko, and Marjan Georgievski, serving as a cultural representation of Macedonian theatre on the European stage.
