National University of Music honors cultural contributors

The National University of Music has honored Wilfredo Tarazona Padilla, president of the Organizing Commission of the UNM, and attorney María Carpio Bueno, director of Pamres, for their contributions to arts and culture.

The recognition took place during the I Art and Culture Festival 2026, an initiative involving cultural managers and institutions in the Jesús María district. The awards were presented by Dr. Pedro Anaya, academic vice-rector, and Ericka Otárola, human development manager, both from the Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal. The distinction highlights their commitment to the promotion and strengthening of cultural activities within society.
