National Wind Orchestra prepares for ‘Symphony of Sounds’ concert

The National Wind Orchestra is preparing for its upcoming ‘Symphony of Sounds’ concert. As part of its educational mission, the orchestra has invited primary school students from Lubin to attend a general rehearsal at the Muza Culture Center. This provides young attendees with a rare opportunity to observe the technical preparations, including the conductor’s interactions with the musicians and the integration of various orchestral sections.

The concert program features a diverse range of musical works, including compositions by Maurice Ravel, Gustav Holst, James Barnes, Philip Sparke, Rossano Galante, Sammy Nestico, and Robert W. Smith. A notable Polish inclusion is Paweł Konkol’s ‘Polish Rhapsody. Hommage à Frédéric Chopin’.
