National Young Informatics Contest concludes in Lam Dong
The 32nd National Young Informatics Contest concluded in Lam Dong province, awarding 184 prizes to outstanding participants. The competition, organized annually since 1995 by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Vietnam Informatics Association, serves as a major platform for promoting STEM education and logical thinking among students.
This year's event saw significant engagement, with nearly 54,000 participants competing over a six-month period. The final round featured 248 top contestants from 24 provinces and cities. The competition structure included provincial-level contests, regional rounds, and an independent qualifying round for free contestants, which saw a 70% increase in participation compared to the previous year.
In the team rankings, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation won first place, followed by Hanoi in second place and Gia Lai in third place.
