NATO Commander seeks proof of reported Russian hybrid attacks

U.S. General Alexus Grynkewich, the NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe, is seeking more information regarding escalating hybrid threats reported by various European nations.

While NATO’s official position maintains there is no imminent threat of a Russian attack, several EU and NATO member states have independently reported hybrid attacks. These reports have often been described as opaque, with some instances being scrutinized or debunked upon investigation. Examples cited include drone incidents and airspace activities that have not been formally classified as hybrid attacks by the governments of Poland, Moldova, or Germany.
