NATO launches Front Door for Industry portal

NATO has launched ‘Front Door for Industry’, a centralized portal designed to streamline how businesses engage with the alliance. Following the July summit in Ankara, the initiative aims to simplify access to procurement opportunities, innovation programs, and collaborative activities that were previously fragmented across various NATO organizations and agencies.

The portal serves as a single entry point for contact information, contract tenders, and testing opportunities. It provides direct links to announcements from entities such as the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) and Allied Command Transformation (ACT). Additionally, the platform integrates access to innovation-focused initiatives, including the NATO Innovation Fund and the Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA).

This new system is intended to be accessible not only to established defense contractors but also to technology startups and small-to-medium enterprises seeking to address NATO’s operational needs. The portal also includes a calendar for upcoming events and testing activities, allowing companies to demonstrate and develop solutions alongside NATO and allied actors.
