Natura Maestra youth nature project launched in Airuno, Italy

The cooperative Liberi Sogni, based in Cascina Rapello, has launched the "Natura Maestra" project in Airuno to support adolescents facing personal or school difficulties. Funded by the Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lombardia under the "Riconnessioni: natura, corpi, relazioni" programme, the initiative will run two cycles during the 2026‑2027 school year, each offering ten weekly sessions of agricultural work, nature experiences, and group activities. Up to twelve participants per cycle will work with agro‑educators and professionals to build motivation, self‑esteem, relational skills and a sense of future possibilities, providing a complementary educational space to traditional schooling.

The project aims to create a positive, experiential learning environment that helps young people discover personal resources and develop new perspectives through direct contact with nature and biodiversity at Cascina Rapello.
