Natura Ventures and CBA‑CIDE launch programs to boost startups in Brazil's North, Northeast and Amazon
Natura Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of cosmetics group Natura, announced a call for startups based in Brazil's North and Northeast regions. The initiative seeks companies with solutions in sustainability, circular economy, consumer experience, direct sales and emerging technologies. Target cities include Manaus, Belém, Recife, Fortaleza and Salvador, and the fund aims to raise the share of invested startups from these areas to 10% of its portfolio. The Centro de Bionegócios da Amazônia (CBA) and the Centro de Incubação e Desenvolvimento Empresarial (CIDE) signed a strategic partnership to strengthen the Amazon’s innovation ecosystem.
