Natural gas infrastructure expands in Canik and Seydişehir

Natural gas infrastructure projects are expanding in several Turkish districts. In Canik, Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı announced that main line connections have been completed in the Kozlu, Dereler, Düvecik, and Devgeriş neighborhoods. Work is currently focused on individual household connections, which are expected to be finished shortly to ensure service is available before the winter season.

In the Seydişehir district of Konya, infrastructure work has commenced for five rural neighborhoods: Çavuş, Tepecik, Tol, Karabulak, and Boyalı. Part of the 2026 investment program, these projects aim to improve local living standards. Local officials, including Mayor Hasan Ustaoğlu and District Governor Kadir Akın Gözel, attended a ceremony in Çavuş neighborhood to mark the start of the works, which will be carried out in coordination with Selçuk Gaz.
