Natural remedies and causes of halitosis

Halitosis, or bad breath, is not always a result of poor oral hygiene and can be caused by factors such as digestive issues, consumption of strong-smelling foods like garlic or onion, or dry mouth.

Mint can serve as a natural remedy to help manage the condition. One effective method is consuming a mint infusion made from fresh mint leaves rather than pre-packaged tea bags. To prepare this, boil four fresh mint leaves in water for a few minutes, then allow the liquid to cool. It is recommended to drink this infusion two to three times a day, ideally after meals.
