Nature and astronomy programs announced in Germany

Various educational and nature-focused programs are being offered in Germany. The Umweltzentrum Westfalen is organizing a special overnight experience for children aged 7 to 11 at the Ökologiestation des Kreises Unna in Bergkamen. Scheduled for September 25–26, 2026, the event includes sleeping in a yurt, campfire cooking, night hikes, and learning about nocturnal animals.

Additionally, the Sternwarte Lübeck has announced its autumn and winter 2026 season. The observatory will host weekly Friday evening programs including lectures for adults on topics such as nuclear fusion and cosmic measurements, as well as specialized astronomy programs for children. Public telescope observations are also available to the general public free of charge, weather permitting.
