Nature education events scheduled across Germany

Various nature-focused educational events are scheduled in Germany. In Ostfriesland, the Evangelisches Bildungszentrum Potshausen will host a migratory bird event on October 11, 2026. The program includes a regional breakfast, a lecture by Dr. Florian Packmor from the National Park Administration regarding the migration patterns of the Arctic Tern, and a guided excursion to the Holter Hammrich nature reserve for bird watching.

Additionally, the Freilandmuseum Oberpfalz in Nabburg is hosting a Nature Discovery Day on August 30. The event features nine interactive stations designed to teach families about local flora and fauna, including wild bees, fish, and birds. The program aims to promote biodiversity awareness through games, film screenings, and educational activities.
