Nature Festival 2026 to host 350+ events across South Australia

The Nature Festival 2026 will take place across South Australia from 25 September to 11 October. Now in its seventh year, the festival features more than 350 events spanning the state, including desert landscapes, coastal wetlands, and city gardens.

The theme for the 2026 program is ‘Seed’, focusing on the small beginnings that shape the future of communities, culture, and the natural world. The festival is a collaborative effort involving over 200 community groups and organizations.

Program highlights include the Seedling Exchange on North Terrace, the Amazing Nature Race in Port Lincoln, and cultural walking experiences such as ‘Kardla: A Journey of Healing Country Through Fire’ in the Adelaide Parklands. The festival also features ‘Seed Stewards’ to explore the theme through various lenses, including restaurateur and author Durkhanai Ayubi, who will host a book launch and poetry event.
