Nature tourism routes highlight autumn landscapes in Spain
Various natural routes in Spain are promoting autumn tourism through unique landscapes and themed experiences. In the Matarraña region, the Parrizal de Beceite offers a route following the Matarraña River through rocky walls and walkways, specifically noted for its seasonal color changes.
In the Valle del Genal, the municipalities of Parauta and Cartajima have enhanced their natural appeal. Parauta features the ‘Bosque Encantado’ (Enchanted Forest), where local artist Diego Guerrero uses reclaimed chestnut wood to create magical figures such as fairies, dragons, and centaurs to attract visitors during the chestnut harvest season. Meanwhile, the ‘Senda Perdida’ in Cartajima is also gaining momentum as a local attraction.
