Nature walks held in Gümüşhane and Sakarya

Various nature walking events have been organized across Turkey to showcase autumn landscapes. In the Kürtün district of Gümüşhane, 21 athletes organized by the Gümüşhane Mountaineering, Nature Sports, Youth and Sports Club Association (GÜDAK) completed a challenging 14-kilometer route from Alaca Plateau to Çetlüce Plateau.

The hike traversed high-altitude plateaus and historical paths, offering views of the Black Sea and the mountain peaks of Trabzon, Giresun, and Gümüşhane. Participants navigated dense vegetation and forest terrain amidst autumn colors.

In Sakarya, the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality organized an autumn nature walk at the Hendek Dikmen course. Approximately 130 participants completed a 12-kilometer route led by expert guides. The municipality plans to continue these walking events at various locations in Sakarya, including Geyve, Akyazı, Taraklı, and Adapazarı, throughout the coming weeks to promote healthy living and local natural beauty.
