Naturgy launches sixth edition of Connecting Energy program

Naturgy has launched the sixth edition of ‘Connecting Energy’, an open innovation program designed to accelerate startups and entrepreneurial teams working on energy transition solutions. The call for applications is open until October 24 and targets early-stage projects focused on areas such as energy efficiency, renewable gases, circular economy, sustainable mobility, digitalization, and process optimization.

Participants enter a six-month program featuring specialized training and mentorship from Naturgy professionals to help strengthen business models and validate value propositions. The initiative includes financial incentives, with a 25,000 euro prize awarded to one project to develop a pilot within the company, and a 5,000 euro prize for the startup showing the best evolution during the program.

Since its inception, the program has supported more than 50 startups through a network of over 70 mentors and specialists across the energy value chain.
