Naturvetarna elects Anna Ebbesson as acting president

Anna Ebbesson has been elected as the acting president of the Naturvetarna trade union, succeeding Patriq Fagerstedt. Ebbesson, a chemical engineer with 20 years of experience in environmental and health protection issues, is set to assume the role on September 16.

Fagerstedt is stepping down after five years to pursue a new position focused on research and innovation within the life science sector at the Government Offices. Ebbesson noted that the leadership change comes at a critical time as the union approaches upcoming collective bargaining negotiations.
