Naucalpan Mayor Isaac Montoya expands free eye‑care program

Municipal President Isaac Montoya Márquez of Naucalpan continued the rollout of the "Impulsando tu Salud" initiative, distributing 744 pairs of free glasses in a recent delivery and bringing the program's total to more than 4,000 lenses handed to residents. The effort, carried out through mobile units of the municipal DIF system, targets families that lack economic means or mobility to access optometric care. Montoya reported that the program now has over 10,700 affiliates and has provided medical attention to more than 15,500 citizens, including general consultations, dentistry, mammography, laboratory tests, nutritional guidance and a catalog of over 200 free medicines.

In addition to eye care, the mayor announced significant investments in local infrastructure: the construction of the Margarita Maza high school, a new tele‑bachillerato campus in Buenavista, a primary school built in partnership with Ford, and a new sports center funded through the federal "México Imparable" program. He also noted that work on the Mexicable urban cable car system is over 75% complete, with inauguration expected soon. The mayor urged residents to use the expanded Clinic of Medical Specialties and to adopt preventive health measures.
