Naucalpan residents demand investigation after discovery of dead dogs

Residents of Santiago Tepatlaxco, Naucalpan, are demanding an investigation by the Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México (FGJEM) following the discovery of at least 12 dead dogs found in black bags at the La Lomita hill.

Ministerial personnel located the bodies approximately 20 meters deep in the Tierra Blanca area. The site has been cordoned off to collect evidence related to potential animal cruelty. This incident follows a similar event in 2022, when over 100 canine carcasses were found in the Puente de Piedra area.

Local community members highlighted ongoing issues in the region, including pet abandonment, overpopulation, and viral diseases. Residents are calling for more effective canine control measures, such as sterilization and vaccination campaigns, to address sanitary and security risks.
