Nava hosts cultural project linking Generation of '27 poetry with cider tradition

The Cider Museum of Nava will host the inaugural session of ‘Cosecha del 27’ on Saturday, October 24. This cultural project connects the literary legacy of the Generation of '27 with Asturian cider traditions, nature, and territorial memory.

The event will feature live music and stage performances by actress Paula del Estal and musician Mónica Acevedo. The program aims to explore the works of authors such as Federico García Lorca, Miguel Hernández, Luis Cernuda, Concha Méndez, and Margarita Ferreras through a format that integrates literature with visual elements and traditional cider culture.

Selected by the Spanish Ministry of Culture as part of the 2026 Promotion of Reading and Spanish Letters initiative, the project consists of four encounters. The session in Nava will include a scenic experience followed by a ‘Memory Wheel,’ where attendees are invited to share recollections related to local landscapes, fruits, and traditions.
