Naval Group and Nibe Group sign MoU for Indian naval technology

Naval Group and Nibe Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate on modern naval technologies and shipbuilding. The agreement establishes a framework for technical exchange in several specialized areas, including underwater drones, submarine systems, mine countermeasure vessels, and naval weapon launching systems.

The partnership aims to support India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative by strengthening the country’s self-reliance in naval programs. The collaboration focuses on developing sovereign and resilient naval capabilities, leveraging the expertise of both companies to provide advanced technological offerings for the Indian Navy. This cooperation is also noted as an example of the Special Global Strategic Partnership between India and France.
