Naval vessels attract 42,000 visitors in Encarnación during WRC Rally

The naval vessels Cañonero Paraguay and the P01 Buque Escuela Capitán Cabral attracted more than 42,600 visitors in Encarnación during the week of the WRC Rally Paraguay. The ships were anchored in the Paraná River near the San José Silo and Mill, offering free access to the public.

Thousands of visitors, including families, students, and tourists, queued to tour the vessels, which provided a look at the country's naval history. The ships traveled from Asunción via the Paraguay and Paraná rivers, passing through the Yacyretá Binational Entity locks to reach Itapúa. Following several days of public engagement, both vessels have departed Encarnación to return to Asunción.
