Navarra entertainment technicians strike for better working conditions

Entertainment and event technicians in Navarra held a strike on Saturday, October 10, to demand a dignified regional collective agreement. The workers, organized by the LAB union, are seeking to establish minimum working conditions and unify a highly fragmented sector.

Protesters held demonstrations at the Palacio de Navarra, the Auditorio de Baluarte, and the Teatro Gayarre. Key demands include standardized working hours, minimum notice periods, proper compensation for long shifts, and respect for professional categories.

Union representatives criticized the employers' association for failing to engage in negotiations since January. Workers expressed concerns regarding job precariousness and insufficient wages to cover housing costs.
