Navarra social assistance programs face scrutiny over management

The Government of Navarra is facing scrutiny regarding its social assistance policies, specifically the Guaranteed Income and Minimum Vital Income programs. Reports from the Chamber of Accounts and other bodies suggest the current model is struggling with transparency, management, and effectiveness in promoting social and labor integration.

With expenditures reaching 108 million euros, there are calls for structural reforms. Proposed improvements include mandatory periodic reviews and automated data cross-referencing regarding employment, income, assets, and residency requirements to ensure the legitimacy and fairness of the system.
