Navarra, Tierra de Cine selects ten finalists for 14th short film contest

The 14th edition of the Navarra, Tierra de Cine short film contest has announced its ten finalist projects, which are now moving into the filming phase. The festival aims to promote the historical, cultural, and natural heritage of Navarra through fictional cinema while supporting audiovisual creators.

Filming is scheduled to take place from September to November across various locations, including Pamplona, Peralta, Dicastillo, Viana, Tafalla, Olazti/Olazagutia, Mendavia, Urdax/Urdazubi, Arguedas, and Allo. The contest features scripts with a maximum duration of ten minutes and a free theme, with a specific emphasis on the use of local settings.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Navarra Film Commission and receives economic support from the Department of Culture. The deadline for the submission of short films is November 16, and public screenings are set to take place in participating municipalities between November 21 and November 29.
