Navarra short‑film contest script deadline incubator prize money

The 14th edition of the Navarra Tierra de Cine short‑film contest has opened its script‑submission window until 10 August 2026. Participants must submit unpublished scripts whose story takes place in a Navarre location and incorporates the landmarks proposed by the organisers.

A specialised committee will evaluate the entries and select ten scripts to move into a filming phase. The resulting short films must be delivered by 16 November 2026 and will be shown to the public between 21 November and 29 November 2026. Awards range from a first prize of €2,500, a second prize of €1,000, best photography €500, public prize €500, special jury prize €500, to a best‑performance prize of €250. Winners will be announced at a gala in December.

The festival also revives the II Incubator Navarra, Tierra de Cine, an immersive meeting for the ten finalist teams scheduled for 28‑29 August 2026 in Arguedas, providing accommodation and civil‑liability insurance to support production.
