Navarra traffic accidents leave multiple people injured

Multiple traffic accidents in the Navarra region have resulted in several injuries. In Mendavia, a 55-year-old cyclist was critically injured after being struck by a car on a paved track. Emergency services, including the Policía Foral and medical teams, transported the victim to the Hospital Universitario de Navarra with multiple traumas.

Other incidents involving cyclists occurred in Artajona, Guesálaz, and Aras. In Guesálaz, a 45-year-old cyclist suffered multiple traumas following a collision with an excavator on the NA-7091 and was also taken to the hospital.

Additionally, a five-vehicle pileup on the A-21 highway near Lumbier left nine people injured on Friday evening. The collision involved vehicles traveling toward Jaca. Among the injured were a 69-year-old woman with a thoracic contusion and a 55-year-old woman with head and rib trauma, both in reserved condition. Five other individuals sustained minor injuries and were treated at a local health center or the university hospital.
