Navarre Government announces administrative changes and housing policy stance
The Government of Navarre has announced a series of administrative changes, including various dismissals and new appointments across several departments. These changes affect sectors such as Education, Economy and Finance, Rural Development and the Environment, and Health. Specific appointments include Germán Esparza Larramendi as head of the Documentation Section for the General Directorate of Memory and Coexistence, and Beatriz Azcarate Auzqui as head of the Accounting Center Negotiating Unit.
Separately, Begoña Alfaro, the Vice President and Counselor for Housing, Youth, and Migration Policies of Navarre, stated that the regional government will continue to implement structural measures to ensure affordable housing access. This commitment comes despite recent legislative developments in Madrid regarding housing decrees. Alfaro highlighted existing regional protections, such as extensions for tenants in stressed market areas and regulations regarding seasonal rentals and rooms, asserting that Navarre will exercise its competencies to protect social interests.
