Argentina municipalities launch free winter‑vacation programs for families

Municipalities across Argentina are offering extensive free programmes for the winter school break. In Buenos Aires the city government promotes theatre, concerts, sports and a Fan Fest for the FIFA World Cup, while Bell Ville and Luján host large‑scale “Parque Invernal” events with games, shows, adventure camps and local‑producer fairs. Mendoza’s agenda features guided coffee tours, wine‑blending workshops, outdoor hikes and a free “Astrokids” programme. In Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia) the municipal government runs free workshops, library activities and cultural outings. Chile’s Teno municipality transformed its municipal gym into a free recreational park with inflatables, football and a mechanical bull.
