Naveen Srivastava meets Nepal PM Balendra Shah for farewell call
Outgoing Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava met with Nepalese Prime Minister Balendra Shah for a farewell call on Tuesday. The meeting, held at the Office of the Prime Minister in Singhadurbar, focused on bilateral relations and mutual cooperation as Srivastava prepares to conclude his four-year tenure.
Prime Minister Shah described the relationship between Nepal and India as “cordial and deep,” expressing gratitude to the Indian government for its assistance during recent natural disasters, including floods and landslides. Ambassador Srivastava noted the completion of numerous development projects during his assignment and thanked the government and people of Nepal for their support. Srivastava is scheduled to return to India on October 1.
