Navegantes del Magallanes completes import roster with two new players

The Navegantes del Magallanes, current champions of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), have finalized their roster of imported players for the 2026-27 season. The team announced the addition of two new players to complete their expanded quota: right-handed pitcher Dillon Tate and utility player Damon Dues.

Dillon Tate, 32, brings significant Major League experience to the bullpen, having played six seasons with organizations including the Toronto Blue Jays, Baltimore Orioles, and Los Angeles Angels. Damon Dues, 28, joins as the team's only position player in the import group. Dues most recently played in the Mexican League, where he maintained a .288 batting average.

Tate and Dues join a group of six previously confirmed foreign pitchers: Jesús Reyes, Alex Tovalín, Víctor Vargas, Reid Birlingmair, Nick Trogrlic-Iverson, and Drew Parrish.
