Navegantes marks 64th anniversary with concerts and nautical festival

The city of Navegantes will celebrate its 64th anniversary from August 28 to 30 with a free public program at the Arena de Eventos do Pontal in the São Pedro district. The weekend will feature national and regional music acts, including pagode singer Ferrugem on Saturday, the Christian group Morada on Friday, and the gaucho band Chiquito & Bordoneio on Sunday, alongside local performers such as Juninho Almeida, Trio Caiçara and Banda Puro Malte.

Parallel to the concerts, the fourth edition of the Navegantes Nautical Festival will host boat parades, ocean and match‑race regattas, and the traditional "Papa Lavagem" competition with regional bateiras. The weekend will also include the fifth Beach Fishing Festival on the Central Beach, offering R$ 35,000 in prizes across six categories. Organizers aim to draw families from the region, showcase local traditions and provide safe, well‑structured entertainment.
