Naver and Inspire sign partnership to rename arena

Inspire Entertainment Resort and Naver have entered into a strategic partnership and naming rights agreement. Starting in late December, the Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, will officially be renamed ‘NAVER ARENA at INSPIRE’, or simply ‘Naver Arena’. The naming rights agreement is set to last for three years.

The collaboration aims to integrate Naver’s technological capabilities with Inspire’s arena operations to enhance the customer experience. Planned technological integrations include facial recognition for venue entry via ‘Npay Facesign’, augmented reality (AR) navigation using Naver Labs’ digital twin technology, and the use of Npay wallets and NFTs for on-site access.

Naver will manage branding and marketing, while Inspire will focus on attracting global entertainment, sports, and performance content. The first major event scheduled at the venue is the ‘Naver X Hyundai Card THE SIX’ tennis tournament, taking place from December 25 to 27.
