Navimow and MOVA showcase new robotics at IFA 2026
At IFA 2026, robotics companies Navimow and MOVA showcased new autonomous technologies designed to improve domestic tasks through advanced mechanical arms and artificial intelligence.
Navimow, a brand under Segway, introduced the H5 Pro robotic lawn mower. The device features the ‘EdgeMaestro’ system, an extensible, omnidirectional robotic arm that extends 7.7 cm to reach edges and borders. This mechanism allows the mower to cut grass along walls and fences without leaving uncut strips, using the same cutting disc as the main lawn area.
MOVA presented a broader shift toward robotics with its ‘AI MOVAment’ vision. The company demonstrated the Knot 80, a humanoid robotic arm with 15 joints and 11 degrees of freedom designed for daily assistance. Additionally, MOVA unveiled the Astra X, a robotic lawn mower equipped with a multifunctional robotic arm. Using AI vision to detect obstacles like toys or branches, the Astra X can move objects out of its path and utilize interchangeable heads for tasks such as picking up items or targeted watering.
