Nawy Shares and CI Capital partner for digital real estate funds
Nawy Shares and CI Capital Asset Management have signed a partnership agreement to establish and manage digital real estate investment funds in Egypt. The collaboration aims to combine Nawy Shares’ expertise in fractional real estate technology with CI Capital’s large-scale asset management capabilities.
The partnership intends to lower entry barriers for real estate investment, allowing individuals to invest with smaller amounts—starting from thousands of pounds—rather than the millions typically required for premium developments. The funds will target capital growth through real estate development projects and income-generating existing assets across the commercial, administrative, residential, and hospitality sectors.
According to Ayman Magdy, Managing Director of Nawy Shares, the new funds will be entirely separate from the platform’s current investment fund. While the companies are currently in the foundational stages—including preparing investment plans and prospectuses—they aim to launch the first fund issuances by early 2027. The initiative operates under new regulations from the Financial Regulatory Authority regarding digital platform investment in real estate funds.
