Naxos to host 17th Potato Festival and centenary celebration

The Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Naxos (E.A.S. Naxos) is organizing the 17th Naxos Potato Festival on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The event will take place at Mandilaras Square on the beach of Chora, Naxos, with free admission.

This year's festival coincides with the centenary of the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Naxos, marking 100 years of supporting local farmers and livestock breeders while promoting the island's products both in Greece and abroad. The commemorative evening will include awards for individuals who have significantly contributed to the Union and the promotion of Naxian culture.

The celebration will feature traditional music with performances by Eleni Legaki, Maria Skoula, Giannis Vitzilaios, and Stellina Konitopoulou. The event will highlight the famous Naxos potato through various culinary offerings.
