Nazara Technologies names Raymond Stauffer CEO as founder Nitish Mittersain becomes Managing Director
Nazara Technologies, India's listed gaming firm, announced a leadership change. Founder Nitish Mittersain will step down as chief executive and continue as managing director. Raymond A. Stauffer, former Google executive and founder of Bluetile Games, will assume the CEO role, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, integration of recent acquisitions and the company's global growth strategy.
The transition follows a period in which Nazara’s revenue rose from ₹1,091 crore in FY23 to an expected ₹1,829 crore in FY26 and EBITDA more than doubled. The company has also secured over ₹1,600 crore in growth capital and completed a $303 million cash acquisition of Bluetile Games and BestPlay, expanding its portfolio of casual and social titles.
Mittersain said the move reflects Nazara’s evolution from an entrepreneurial gaming business to a broader international platform, and he will focus on long‑term strategy, partnerships and stakeholder relations while supporting Stauffer’s tenure.
