Nazareno Pérez released for mental health rehabilitation

Nazareno Pérez, a marketing staff member for Racing de Nueva Italia and son of the club's president, has been released from custody by the Instruction Prosecutor's Office of Villa Carlos Paz.

Pérez remains charged with alleged qualified threats and sexual abuse following a formal complaint from his former partner. His release was granted under the Mental Health Law after his defense presented clinical documentation and requested an interdisciplinary evaluation.

The court ordered that Pérez undergo rehabilitation at a specialized mental health facility, such as Sanatorio Morra. His freedom is subject to the payment of bail and the monthly submission of medical certificates regarding his treatment. The legal proceedings remain open as the investigation into the merits of the allegations continues.
