Nazi flag displayed at Orlando's Kia Center during combat sports event

A Nazi flag was displayed by spectators during a Duel Arena mixed martial arts event at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida. Video footage circulating on social media shows a man holding a large red flag featuring a swastika, with some individuals appearing to perform Nazi salutes.

A spokesperson for Orlando Venues, the city department overseeing the Kia Center, stated, “We do not condone or approve the messaging during Saturday’s event and the flag was removed once we saw it on display.” While the flag was removed, it remains unclear how the item bypassed security protocols at the venue, which maintains strict policies against signs with derogatory images or offensive material.

The Combat Antisemitism Movement has called for the individuals involved to be identified and barred from future events. Florida Representative Anna Eskamani criticized the incident, describing it as a reminder of the prevalence of extremism in society.
