Nazária receives new micro-bus for patient transport

The municipality of Nazária has received a new micro-bus from the Ministry of Health to strengthen its municipal fleet and improve patient assistance. This acquisition is part of the ‘Caminho da Saúde’ initiative, linked to the ‘Agora Tem Especialistas’ program.

The new sanitary transport is intended to ensure the safe and comfortable displacement of patients to reference centers in the capital, Teresina. Priority will be given to those undergoing continuous and high-complexity treatments, such as oncology and hemodialysis sessions. The municipal health department stated that the vehicle will be integrated into the official fleet to optimize the daily flow of patient transport within the municipal network.
