Nazrul Islam, West Bengal headmaster, killed in Islampur shooting
On Saturday morning, Nazrul Islam, the headmaster of Rajabhim Primary School in Islampur, North Dinajpur district, West Bengal, was shot by unidentified assailants as he travelled to school in the Madaripur area.
He was rushed to the Islampur Sub‑Divisional Hospital and later transferred to North Bengal Medical College & Hospital in Siliguri, Darjeeling district, where he subsequently died.
