NBA 2K27 launches with gender-mixed modes and DLSS 5 support

NBA 2K27 has officially launched on September 4, available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam), and Nintendo Switch 2. Developed by Visual Concepts and published by Take-Two Interactive, the title introduces several major updates, including the series' first gender-mixed 'The City' mode, allowing players to create both male and female MyPlayers within the same framework.

Key gameplay features include a complete overhaul using ProPlay technology, improved defensive systems, and a new 'Eras' mode that allows players to experience five different historical NBA periods. The MyNBA mode has also been reconstructed to include a 'MyNBA Legacy' feature covering 100 years of gameplay.

The game serves as a launch title for NVIDIA’s DLSS 5 AI rendering technology, supporting RTX 50-series graphics cards. Edition covers feature Victor Wembanyama (Standard), Caitlin Clark (Deluxe), and Derrick Rose (Ultra).
